Module Description |
This module allows you to create Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policies that can later be assigned to specific Programs. The SAP policy defines the guidelines for monitoring Student SAP at the end of each grading period.

Applicable to ALL students? |
Yes- if SAP policy should apply to ALL students automatically when a program doesn’t have an assigned SAP policy. |
Must Make-up for absences |
Yes- if attendance policy requires 100% attendance and students are required to make-up absences. |
GPA Basis |
Defines if Grade Point Average will be calculated using a 4.0 or percentage grading (100%). |
Perform Evaluation? |
If a SAP policy is available, RGM will automatically evaluate SAP upon the defined Period of Evaluation, unless NO is selected. |
Period of Evaluation |
Defines when SAP evaluation will occur. Ex. Every week, month, payment period, every ¼ program, etc. |
Maximum Timeframe |
Refers to Maximum time frame for students to complete the program. Typically this is 150%. |
Minimum Grade to Graduate |
Enter the minimum GPA or percentage grade required before a student can successfully graduate. Ex. 2.5 GPA or 75%. |
% Period (for unequal) |
Measure Qualitative Grade requirement (in percentage grade) if requirement isn’t the same for each grading period. Ex. Grade is tracked as 85% rather than GPA format of 3.5. |
Min GPA per period (Qualitative) |
Specify minimum GPA requirement (in 4.0, 3.5 etc. format) for each grading period |
Quantitative Per Period |
Specify minimum attendance requirement for each grading period |
Min GPA to graduate |
Specify minimum grade requirement for graduation in 4.0 GPA format |
Do you allow appeals? |
Yes- if your school allows a student to appeal probation due to Unsatisfactory Academic Progress. |
Consecutive probation periods |
Define the number of consecutive periods a student can be on probation due to Unsatisfactory Academic Progress. |
Max probation period |
Maximum number of probation periods due to Unsatisfactory Academic Progress. |
