Module Description

Time-In module allows you to create rounding Rules of how to handle the students’ “first” Time Clock “Time-IN” posting for the day, as well as defining a time click Grace period.

Tip:

This module should be set up by RGM Staff

In the example above, both Rules apply to time clock punches made Monday-Saturday.

In Rule 1, if a student punches prior to 08:15 AM, their Punch-In time will automatically round to 08:15 AM.

The Second rule, if a student punches in between 08:31 AM and 09:30 AM, their Punch-In time will automatically round to 09:30 AM.

If a student punches in between 08:16 AM-08:29 AM, their time will not round and will post as actual punch-in time.

Defines the First day of each week the rule will apply

Day To

Defines the Last day of each week for which the rule applies

Time From

Define the rule or grace period by entering the earliest time a student could punch in that will apply to the rounding rule

Time To

Define the rule or grace period by entering the latest time a student could punch in that will apply to the rounding rule

Result

Define whether the rule will Round up or down

To

Define the Punch IN Time that will be recorded if the students punches in during the “Time From-Time To” time frame
