Financial Aid – Student Aid Reports

Module Description

This module shall enable you to create and browse Student Aid Reports (SARs). This is a fast and easy way to view Estimated Family Contributions (EFC) of students per Award Year per ISIR transaction, which the system uses to determine student financial aid eligibility. SARs are automatically posted here when an ISIR arrives electronically. This module also allows for EFCs of students to be posted manually based on paper SARs. Users can not modify records that were automatically created by the system, only those that were posted manually.

Previous Pell Award values are posted here automatically when the ISIR arrives through RGMSMS

It is recommended that the FAO verify this data as NSLDS may be outdated and/or incorrect.

Field	Description
Key	Refers to the number sequentially assigned for each entry under the logged in school or campus
Type of Posting	The manner in which the SAR was posted to RGMSMS
Award Year	Refers to the Award Year from which the Student Aid Report was generated
Date	Represents the date the SAR was processed. The ISIR/SAR process date can be found on the document
ISIR ID	The ISIR ID is printed on an ISIR and SAR. It is made up of: Student SS#, First two letters of last name and ISIR TRX# (Ex: 259564457DB01)
Type of ISIR	Refers to ISIR TRX and/or special conditions
EFC	Refers to the Estimated Family Contribution. The EFC is printed on the ISIR and SAR
Validation	Refers to any holds or verifications
Fields 1-12	The EFC equivalent for 1-12 months. EFC value for 1 budget month, EFC value for 2 budget months, EFC value for 3 budget months, etc. Prorated EFC value for loan months is used as basis for the LOANS
