Student Term Budgets [5010] |
Module Description |
This module shall enable you to modify and browse through Student Term Budgets created automatically once a student term enrollment is created. This module defines the student budgets for every term period (defined from the Global Term Budget Controls in TRX 5003). The budgets are automatically posted after a Student Term Enrollment [3014] is posted or after a FAFSA is entered.
If a FAFSA is not entered the dependency status can’t be determined; therefore, after 3014 is posted, the system assumes that the student is Independent Living off Campus and automatically assigns the budget for this. This module allows a user to override the budgets if necessary. If a FAFSA is entered after 3014 is posted, the system changes the initial defaulted budget value to one that will correspond to the FAFSA data. |
