How do I enroll a Non-Regular Student?
If a student is not enrolling to obtain a degree/certificate from your institution, enroll the student as you normally would a regular student, however; under 3008 Student Profile, change the “Reg Student?” Field to NO. Second, under the Enrollment Screens 3013 or 3014 the “Regular Flag” field should default to Just Taking Classes or something other than Regular Student (note: if a record was already created under 3013 or 3014 prior to setting “Reg Student” field to NO in 3008, then go back to 3013/3014 and update the Regular Flag). Finally, if both 3008 and 3013/3014 are set to Non Regular student flag, then Student Ends in 4043 will only allow “Completed” as “Type of End” rather than Graduated.
IMPORTANT: If 3013/3014 and/or 4043 were posted prior to 3008 being set to Non Regular Student, then first ensure 3008 then 3013/3014 are updated, then go DELETE (do not modify) the existing record under 4043, and ADD a new record under 4043 selecting Completed if applicable. This will remove the Non-Regular student from Annual Reports.
