Module Description

This module stores Program Charges that are Standard to ALL students enrolled in the School. If not all Clock Hours or Credit Hour programs share the same charges, do not use this module, rather apply charges per program under 1017-1019.

Define a flat rate to charge per Hour/Credit or enter a Total amount of the entire program

Enter a flat rate to charge for the entire program

Fees

Refers to the Registration or Application Fee to be charged

Supplies

Amount charged for Supplies

Are Supplies Receivable?

Yes- Supplies will be part of COA and considered a receivable

Hourly Rate for W/D

Refers to the Rate per Hour to charge in refund calculations for a drop

Charge for Overtime?

Refers to the Charge to students who fail to complete by the scheduled end dates

Grace Period before charging OT?

Refers to the Grace Period allowed by the school  before Overtime charges are applied

Overtime Rate

Define the rate to charge for each overtime hour

Overtime Due From

Define how the overtime charges will be applied on ledger and budgets

Prorate Tuition for Transfers

If yes- tuition will be prorated based on enrolling credits/hours accounting for transferred units/hours

OTHER CHARGES Tab> allows you to define charges that are not standard Tuition, Registration and Supply charges. Charges entered under LIST OF CHARGES tab will automatically be applied to ALL students. “Other” Charges listed here will NOT be automatically applied unless specified as mandatory, and these charges will be options under Trx 6004 Student Charges module to be applied manually on an individual student basis. You may also specify if the charges should be refunded under refund calculations or if the charge should be applied on at the end of the program. If the amount of the charge is not set, you may leave the COST field 0 and manually add the Cost under Trx 6004 after adding the Type of Charge.
