Module Description

This module is used to set up rules for automatic student breaks between time clock entries. Entry is typically set up by RGM based on an individual school’s break-time rules.

If clocked for more than this length of time

Leave blank if school requires students to clock out and in for each break. Break times of zero gives students full credit for all time between clock out and in. If students are not required to punch out and in for break, enter the amount of time to subtract for break (in time format). Break time greater than zero will be subtracted if the student’s hours between punches exceed the length specified.

Subtract this many minutes from clocked-in hours

Automatically subtract this many minutes from specified clocked-in hours

Number of minutes to allow credit for clocked-out breaks

Number of minutes that can be credited back to students. Ex., if rule is 15 minutes and student took a break for 30 minutes, 15 is credited and 15 minutes will be deducted from total hours.

Use break time as minimum (always subtract at least this much)

If a student punches out and back in for break, and the break wasn’t as long as the specified break time required, it will automatically subtract at least this much.
