Module Description |
Allows users to assign Subjects to Clock Hour Programs. Subjects available here were previously assigned under Trx 4005 and/or 4007. RGM staff will typically set up Subjects in a program based on the approved curriculum submitted to the Accrediting Agency and/or College Catalog. IMPORTANT Things to Remember:

Select the Program the subject will be assigned to. Programs are defined under Trx 1012-1015 “Programs” |
Re-sequence Order # |
When subjects are added to the program, they are automatically sequentially assigned an “Order” number (this number can be overridden). After deleting subjects or overriding the order number, click this button for the subjects to be placed in sequence of the order numbers. |

Refers to the number sequentially assigned for each entry (can be changed by RGM users) |

Required |
Options are Required, Elective, Remedial, GE/Developmental. Refers to the requirement of the subject in the program. |
Credit Equiv |
Refers to the credit hours of each subject. This is for display only on Academic transcripts, and will not be considered as earned credits since the program is approved as a Clock Hour Program. |
Hours/Credits Earned |
Yes- the hours of the subject are posted as Earned to the student’s record when a subject completion is entered under “Registrar Academic Postings”. NO- when a Subject Completion is posted, the hours aren’t counted as earned in the student’s record. |
Hours/Units Graded |
Yes- the Grade assigned to the subject under Subject Completions will be determined as earned or failed based on the Grading table assigned. No-The Grading Table is not considered when determining if the grade/score is earned or failed. |
Date Included |
The Effective Date the subject was offered to students in this program. Defaults to the dates entered under Subjects modules Trx 4005-4009, but can be changed here. For a subject to appear under a student’s curriculum, the Included Date must be within their enrollment dates. |
Date Remove |
Refers to the date the subject was no longer offered in the program. For a subject to appear under a student’s curriculum, their enrollment dates need to fall within the subject’s Included/Remove Dates. |
Active |
Yes- the subject will appear under the Program curriculum for Academic Postings (as long as the student’s enrollment dates are within the subject INCLUDE/REMOVE dates). No- The subject will no longer appear under the Program curriculum. |
Override Grading Table |
Yes- the Grading Table assigned to the Program under Program set-up Trx 1012-1015 will no longer be used, and rather the grading table assigned under each subject will be used. No-the Grading Table assigned to the program will be used. Grading Tables are defined under Trx 4023. |
Grading Distribution-Lecture, Lab, Clinical, Extern, Outside, etc) |
System will default to YES if hours/credits were entered under this Type in the Subject module Trx 4005-4009. |
Instructors |
Allows you to assign the subject to single or multiple instructors. Instructors are added to RGM under Employee module and multiple subjects can be assigned to Instructors under Trx 4017. |
TIP: To ADD Multiple Subjects to a Program at once, click the ADD/Remove Multiple Subjects link at the bottom. Remember do NOT delete subjects from a program as they may have already been posted as Subject Completions to Student Academic records, rather enter a REMOVE date. (see image above)
IMPORTANT: Once Subjects are assigned to a Program, Click the PRINT button to VIEW the subjects in a better one Page Layout, and compare TOTAL Hours/Credits to the Totals set up under Trx 1012-1015-Program Set-up - it is imperative these match!! (See image Above)
